In 2009, The Manhattan Transfer mark 40 years of creating music together. This single, “Soul Food To Go (Sina)” was featured on the 1987 CD, “Brasil” and featured the singing talents of Brazilian singer/songwriter Djavan. Also collaborating on the CD were Brazilian artists Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins and Gilberto Gil. The CD won a Grammy that year for “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.” [This is a fan appreciation video. I do not own this video. All rights remain with the artists.]

Wow this brings back good memories…and I used to be called “weird” for listening to this type of music when I was younger, even now…well considering a lot of the “music” that’s out now, I’ll take this “weird” music any day of the week…real smooth groove…do you believe in jazz? I do!
@valambiguous I.love ther sings that ther ar donne.
just awesome…thanks..they don’t make sound like this anymore
@James7899 I was also called weird for listening t this back in the 80s. Now we know who was the real weirdo, dont we?
@vimaury Definitely. This type of music they just don’t make anymore, you could feel the emotion, you could feel the soul…not too many new acts out nowadays that you can say that about…
A kind of inspiration for my new style!!!
Just great!
Great great impeccable album
The Manhattan Transfer is my favourite vocal group ever. I love how they take a good song and make it even better than before.
Suena bien grancias TA:
MUITO BOM ! VOCÊS MANTIVERAM TODAS AS CARACTERÍSTICAS DA MUSICA. SIM É UMA CANÇÃO CONTAGIANTE !
